# Does unused data for my MASV subscription roll over to the next month?

## Learn how subscriptions manage data costs

Like most subscription services, the monthly allowance associated with your MASV subscription does not roll over from month to month. Benefits of subscriptions include lower per GB pricing and any overages for the month are calculated at a lower price per GB than On-Demand, based on which subscription plan you have. Subscriptions also include more days of free storage. MASV subscriptions renew annually (one year commitment) and are paid in monthly installments.
