      Connecting Additional MASV Teams to your MS Teams integration

      Learn how to add additional MASV Teams into your MS Teams integration

      If you have more than one MASV Team and would like to connect them to Microsoft Teams you can connect them to a single channel or add the MASV Connector to other channels. A MASV Team can only connect to one Microsoft Teams channel at a time.

      1. Browse to the Team Channel you wish to use in Microsoft Teams and click the three-dots beside the channel name.

      2. Click Connectors from the popup menu.

      3. Locate the MASV connector and click Manage.

      4. Login to your MASV account and select the team you wish to connect to this channel.

      Changing Channels

      If you wish to have notifications posted to a different channel you must first remove the MASV Connector from the channel.

      1. Browse to the Team Channel in Microsoft Teams and click the three-dots beside the channel name.

      2. Click Connectors from the popup menu.

      3. Locate the MASV connector and click Manage.

      4. Login to your MASV account and select the team you wish to connect to this channel.

      Removing the Connection

      If you wish to disable notifications to your Microsoft Teams channel you must remove the MASV Connector from the channel.

      1. Browse to the Team Channel in Microsoft Teams and click the three-dots beside the channel name.

      2. Click Connectors from the popup menu

      3. Locate the MASV connector and expand the existing connections.

      4. Locate the MASV team name you wish to remove and click Manage.

      5. Click the Remove button to delete the connection to MASV.

        You have successfully disconnected your MASV team and you will no longer receive notifications from it on this channel. If you wish to remove other MASV teams, you will need to repeat this process for each of them.

      Uninstalling the app

      If you wish to remove the MASV connector app completely, you must first remove each channel connector. Once that has been completed, you can uninstall the app.

      1. After removing all channel connectors, browse to the Apps page.

      2. Locate the MASV app under Built for your org.

      3. Click the three dots icon in the upper right corner of the app card and select Delete.

      4. Confirm the deletion. The MASV app has now been removed from Microsoft Teams.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      I deleted the MASV app, but I still receive notifications on my channel

      Before deleting the MASV app it is important to remove each channel connector - this ensures that the connection to MASV is removed completely and no new notifications will be published. To resolve this issue you must re-upload and install the MASV app in Microsoft Teams, then you can navigate to the channel’s Connectors page and remove MASV. Once all have been removed, you may delete the app.
