How to connect MASV with IBM Cloud

Integrate MASV with IBM Cloud

You can connect MASV with IBM Cloud, an enterprise cloud platform. By integrating MASV with Amazon S3-compatible IBM Cloud, you can simplify and accelerate how you save files to or send files from your IBM Cloud storage.

Note: For information about activating IBM Cloud integrations, please contact support@masv.io.

Information you'll need to have ready

To make the process go smoothly, have the following information on hand, referring to your IBM Cloud documentation as needed:

  • IBM Cloud bucket name and region: The IBM bucket name for your storage, including the region.

  • IBM Cloud Access Key ID and Access Key Secret

  • File path: Know the destination (the directory within your bucket) where you want to deliver or retrieve the files.

Note: MASV integrations support Standard (active) IBM Cloud storage only. Cold storage (Vault) is not supported.

To integrate IBM Cloud with MASV

  9. Select the Connect button.

  10. Refresh the page, and select the My Integrations tab to confirm that OK appears in the Status column.

That's it! After authentication, the service is connected with MASV. You can now:

Tip: You can change the Target Subdirectory that you set in MASV at any time without creating a new integration. You can also append subdirectories to create a custom path when you associate the integration with a MASV Portal.
