How to use Tags in MASV

Tags are an easy way to identify and organize packages in MASV

The MASV Web App lets Team Owners and Admins set up Tags to help identify packages for projects, contracts, billing, or specific departments. Permissions to add tags can also be given to other users if the Team Owner and Admins don't need a controlled list of Tags.

You can delete a Tag from your list of Tags, but you cannot edit Tags.

Tags can be selected from the Send card or from the Portal page. 

To add Tags to the Tag drop-list

  1. In the MASV Web App, as a Team Owner or Admin, select Features & Settings from the sidebar on the left.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. On the Tags page, select New Tag.
  4. Type the name of the Tag you want to add.
  5. Select Save. The new Tag is added to the list of tags.

To delete Tags from the Tag drop-list

  1. In the MASV Web App, as a Team Owner or Admin, select Features & Settings from the sidebar on the left.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. On the Tags page, in the Actions column select the menu icon that corresponds to the Tag you want to delete, and select Delete from the menu.

To add a Tag to a package

  1. From the Send card or Portal page, select the Tag you want from the Tag drop-down menu.
    1. If you have permissions, you can type the name of a new Tag and it will be assigned to the package and added to the Tag list for the Team.

To change Tag creation permissions

  1. In the MASV Web App, as a Team Owner or Admin, select Features & Settings from the sidebar on the left.
  2. Select General Settings.
  3. In the More Settings area, toggle on Tag management restriction to limit Tag creation and management to Team Owners and Admins. If you want any contributor or member to create tags when they send packages, toggle the setting off.
