# What are MASV Watch Folders?
## Automate your workflow with MASV Watch Folders
A watch folder is a folder on your computer that performs a task when folders or files are dropped in. In the case of MASV Watch Folders, files and folders are uploaded automatically and made available via a MASV Portal or direct email notification and link.
MASV Watch Folders are designed with one goal in mind: To help you save time and provide you with peace of mind, knowing that your deliveries will be sent automatically!
For example, with MASV, you can simply render a file into a watch folder on your computer and go to sleep. The watch folder will receive the rendered file and upload it right away.
