# What happens if my connection is interrupted during upload?

## MASV's strategy for lost internet connections during live upload

If you lose network connectivity MASV will infinitely retry until a connection is regained and it can continue the transfer. However, if you close your MASV browser tab or your computer crashes you will have to start over.

Using the MASV Desktop application, most interruptions including computer reboot or hard drive being unplugged can be recovered from.
